Dresden's S.T.E.M. Club is an after school program for students in grades 3-5. Look for a flyer to come home with more information.
S.T.E.M.Club members will participate in activities such as:
* building and maintaining a science garden (Science)
* working with LEGO Robotics (Technology)
* competing in Science Olympiad events (Science & Engineering)
* conducting various scientific experiments (Science)
In order to join the S.T.E.M.Club, students must have:
* an interest in Science, Engineering and/or Technology
* good grades (C+ average on their progress report)
* good behavior (no N's or U's in conduct)
* transportation home by 4pm (buses will NOT be available)
Any student in grades 3-5 who is interested in joining Dresden's S.T.E.M.Club, please see Ms. Weir in room 18. We are also in need of volunteers to help out with the club. If you are interested, please contact Ms. Weir at Casey_L_Weir@dekalbschoolsga.org.
